Πλοκή

Η Nan Barlow σπουδάζει Ιστορία στο Πανεπιστήμιο, ενώ ιδιαίτερο είναι και το ενδιαφέρον της για τη μαγεία ανά τους αιώνες. Για να τη βοηθήσει στην έρευνά της, ο καθηγητής της τής προτείνει να επισκεφτεί τη Νέα Αγγλία, την πόλη όπου αιώνες πριν μάγισσες είχαν καεί στην πυρά. Παρά τις έντονες αντιρρήσεις των δικών της, η Νan θΑ αποτολμήσει το ταξίδι. Όμως φτάνοντας στη μικρή πόλη, κάτι περίεργο αισθάνεται στην ατμόσφαιρα…
