Πλοκή

Ο Ραντλ ΜακΜέρφι στέλνεται από τις αγροτικές φυλακές στο ψυχιατρείο, για να διαπιστώσουν αν είναι φρενοβλαβής. Με την παρουσία του στο ίδρυμα αλλάζει τη στάση των υπόλοιπων τροφίμων και δίνει άλλο νόημα στη ζωή τους.
